Collection: Climbing triangle with slide
A climbing triangle with a slide is designed entirely based on Emmi Pikler's example. A slide is the ideal addition to a climbing triangle. Most slide models can be used on both sides , so they usually have a climbing function / ladder on the back.
Important : Make sure that the slide and climbing triangle are bought from the same manufacturer, ideally as a set . This ensures that the slide can also be securely fixed to the triangle.

Montessori pedagogy: simply and understandably explained
What is a Pikler Triangle?
A Pikler triangle is a triangular wooden climbing frame for children aged approximately 10 months to 6 years, on which they can climb freely and independently.
The name goes back to the Hungarian paediatrician Emmi Pikler, who – like Montessori education – focused on free play.
Many triangles can be folded and set up at different angles. This allows your child to control and test their own body movements and explore their limits at their own pace.
What are the advantages of a Pikler triangle?
A Pikler triangle strengthens motor skills, balance, body awareness, and self-confidence – children playfully train their gross motor skills while free climbing.
Above all, it promotes independence, one of the foundations of Montessori education: your child works independently on their development without perceiving it as an "exercise."
The most important advantages at a glance:
- Motor skills & Balance: Climbing, balancing, and gripping train gross motor skills.
- Self-confidence: The sense of achievement "I did it myself" strengthens the child.
- Grows with the child: Various assembly options adapt to the child's developmental stage.
- Imagination: The triangle becomes a spaceship, a cave, or a pirate ship.
From what age can you use a climbing triangle?
While some suggest as early as 6 months, we agree with the recommendation from RIE and Montessori professionals that the triangle can be moved to the " yes space " once your baby starts moving actively to build confidence strengthen.
Remember that the "yes room" is an area where your baby feels completely safe.
In principle, the children do not need any instructions to get involved in the Pikler triangle. They can try things, test the limits of their abilities and explore different things: our little ones feel the need to do this from an early age. At Pikler, the principle applies: " The more children are allowed to design and play themselves, the more freely they can develop their interests and the more self-confident they become."
How long do climbing triangles last?
Our climbing frames are designed to last - especially over years. As long as the owner takes care of our climbing triangles, we expect them to last at least 5-10 years .
We strongly recommend that you keep the product indoors as much as possible to protect them from rain and other weather conditions.
In addition, our wood is the best wood for children's toys - plywood and beech, which is extremely durable.
Is a climbing triangle safe for my child?
Absolutely! As long as there is proper oversight there shouldn't be any safety issues. Remember that most babies and growing children are born with an innate sense of balance and risk-taking that prevents them from climbing when they don't feel ready.
We should let them touch and feel the object and then climb when they feel ready.
When they're really ready, they start pulling to stand and put their feet on the rings to stand. Eventually, as the years go by, they will continue to climb higher and higher and reach the summit. It's amazing to watch. You'll soon see them making progress in climbing and in their daily activities.
Is a climbing triangle safe for my child?
Yes. Our climbing triangles are CE-certified and produced exclusively in the EU, designed to be tip-proof, and made from sanded, non-toxic wood.
With normal use and appropriate supervision, there are no safety concerns. Babies and toddlers instinctively climb only as high as they feel safe – their innate sense of balance protects them.
Allow your child to first feel the triangle and conquer it at their own pace; step by step, they will climb higher and more securely.
